These are compressed files containing the .dem files . The are compressed using Winzip, which can be downloaded from here. Once you have downloaded the demos, you will need to extract them to the path where your CS is installed. This folder is usually c:\program files\steam\steam apps\youremail@yourhost.com\counter strike\cstrike
Once you have unzipped the files, you will need to start CS, start a new game, and select the map which the demo was recorded on. Once the game has started, open the console and type :
viewdemo filename (where filename is the name of the demo)
This will allow you to watch the whole match from any angle or view. Enjoy our raping to your hearts content!

Satstrat is a Counterstrike strategy program. It allows us to look at a picture of a given CS map, and collaborate over the net, to have planning session, theorise new tactics and to finally name all the places on the maps!!

Installation is really easy, just run the setup programs, and follow instructions - I recommend that you install to c:\satstrat. Once you have unzipped, just go to c:\satstrat and double click on the stratplanner.exe file. This will load satsrat program. The program needs you to load a map (obviously). To load a map, click on the "load map" icon on the left of the screen, and select the map you want to use. This will load a picture of the map into satstrat. Once the picture is loaded, you can right click on it, and transfer it to public, which will make it available for collaboration to other satstrat users who connect to your IP address, while satstrat is running. Satstrat also has an IRC like chat facility and can be used with TeamSpeak or Ventrillo
