Clan McAdder - The Foretelling

Clan McAdder (clan tag is =McA=), was formed by four (very) likely lads; Queeg, TheJackal, HarryLime and Tiny. The Clan was formed with the intention of taking what was a group of friends who enjoyed playing Counterstrike onto the next level of gameplay - competitive, but fun, Counterstrike. TheJackal was the founding Clan Leader, with Tiny taking the Deputy Clan Leader spot.

"And so the Black Adder scoured the land to search out the six other Most Evil Men in the kingdom."

From small roots, the Clan grew, picking up such miscreants as Lith, Ulooking4me, Madmanmad, AllFiredUp and Fruitpastille along the way. Although the Clan were gelling, and developing structure, they were still some way off from playing in a competitive league.

"Blackadder: You see, the thing about heaven is that heaven is for people who like the sort of things that go on in heaven. Like, well, singing, talking to God, watering pot plants. "

The Clan grew from strength to strength, with first Queeg and then Flaggster being made UK2 admins, and our ED career getting off to a (albeit shaky) start. At this time, NotBad joined the Clan, and we prepared to progress through the ED division 3 ladder.

"George: My head... oh, my head... feels like the time I was initiated into the Silly Buggers Society at Cambridge. I misheard the rules and tried to push a whole aubergine up my earhole."

Unfortunately, we were in for a rude awakening! We soon realised that we needed to practice, and drill, and some cunning plans would certainly help at this stage. We recruited two further members, Batesy and DaPIMP. We began to develop tactics, and saw our progress in ED improve. AllFiredUp was made Clan Forum Admin, and took on responsibility for keeping the forum in tip top shape. At this point Ickle joined the clan - eager to keep an eye on what was keeping Flaggy occupied so much of the time. J-Rat Solitaire and Grinch joined =McA=.

"Percy: Only this morning in the courtyard I saw a horse with two heads and two bodies. Blackadder: Two horses standing next to each other?"

TheJackal decided that "Real Life" was taking too much of his time, and Flaggster was elected new Clan Leader. Some time later, Tiny decided to resign as DCL, for the same reasons. Queeg was offered and accepted the Deputy Clan Leader position.

"Edmund Blackadder: Oh, I'm sorry, sir. I'm anispeptic, frasmotic, even compunctuous to have caused you such pericombobulation."

Tinys' resignation left a void, and, following an election within the clan, NotBad was elected as new War Arranger.
Grinch and Batesy decided to leave the clan, as did Ickle. Solitaire followed shortly after. Lith decided that he would not be returning to CS, so also resigned from the clan FooFighter was made a full member of the clan.

DaPIMP was made Game Server Guru and given forum admin status, for all of his sterling efforts with the game server and forum
Ickle decided to rejoin the clan (typical woman, make yer bleeding mind up ffs lol)

"Blackadder: We‘re about as similar as two completely dissimilar things in a pod."


Following a restucturing of the clan, the following clan members departed the clan:

Needless to say, our thanks and much love go to all ex-members of the clan.

Queeg took over the running of the clan, and Flaggster stepped down to DCL. NotBad remained as War arranger.

The clan have currently withdrawn from Enemy Down, but will be returning soon .....

Clan McAdder now prepares to face the future......
